Because of all the problems of glitching I've been having with my current radio gear I was thinking of upgrading to 2.4ghz digital. Of the spektrum dx-2/dx-3 and futaba 3pm FASST what would you go for? are there many differences or are they as good as each other?
Also the Acoms 2.4ghz system is considerably cheaper than others, is this due to it's quality or reliability?
thanks
Jamie

Hi Jamie, there are several different makes available. To see the differences of the spektrum have a look at www.spektrumrc.com/ Another one is Nomadio on Rapid Racing website. I get on well with my DX3R.. will be sending some files soon... I haven't heard of the one you mentioned

I've just bought a second hand (had 2 month use) futaba 3pm 2.4ghz system off ebay for £82.50, which isn't bad considering they are about £160 new. Didn't bother with acoms one because there were many mixed reviews as to the quality of it and £60 new does seem a bit cheap for 2.4 ghz systems.

yeah it's very similar to the spektrum, just instead of locking onto 2 channels (i think) like the spektrum does, it keeps swapping to different channels with the best quality signal or something like that. At least the range should be much better.
