Having a HPI savage engine problems

Hi all,

I Have a HPI savage and havent run it for about 2 years. I have brought new fuel and changed the glowplug. But the car wont even start still. Theres alot of sludge coming out the exhaust Is that a problem? Any thoughts of the problem?

Hi Josh, I'm not a nitro expert, but I have got one - I had the same thing, not run for a while last year.

All i did was as you've done - checked the glow plug is hot, new fuel and check it's getting to the engine. It did take me a while to get it started though.

Something else I did was to put a few drops of fuel directly into the engine, then stick the glow plug on and see if that makes it at least fire.
